A Praying Life: Connecting with God in a Distracting World by Paul E. Miller

4.0

The author makes prayer practical. He applies it to everyday real life struggle. He talks about our disconnect in really believing it will do any good and where our culture has left us in our beliefs on prayer. He talks about taking on a childlike approach to prayer. He shows us how God is always at work in our lives and through our prayers we can see that work. He shares personal stories and specific examples and tips to a deeper richer prayer life. I feel like I finally know how to start a "prayer journal". I highly recommend this book.
