The Journey That Saved Curious George: The True Wartime Escape of Margret and H.A. Rey by Louise Borden

4.0

My children and I are reading this book as we study France and WWII. I thought the entire book was thoughtfully illustrated (in a style reminiscent of H.A. Rey, much to my delight.) The story is simply told, which makes it an excellent book for older children and adolescents, with many interesting facts. One of my favorite tidbits of information was that "Curious George" was almost "Curious Fifi."
