You know when the ending of a book just makes you stare at the wall for hours and question everything? That’s how I felt for the final 20% of this book. 
This was addicting I could not put it down. 
The magic system is like nothing I have ever read before, and left me with so many questions (much like Odessa).
I didn’t see majority of the twists coming, they really got me.
The slow burn is also just *chefs kiss*. I loved the character growth.

I also love when an author isn’t afraid to kill of main characters. Although it does look like Zavier is going to survive.

I cannot wait for the next book.
