I didn’t particularly enjoy the first half of this book. Lots of whining from our MC. I almost called it quits when a certain character meets their demise. But I trust my book clubbers and kept going. What happens after was much better and well developed. SJM has an epic level of foreshadowing in this book which makes me excited to continue. Some of the big reveals weren’t news to me but they were well played.
