The Stars and the Stage by D.N. Bryn

5.0

[I did receive this book an ARC for an honest review]

Honestly, I quite enjoy everything that D.N. Bryn has put out but this little novella was a wonderful little peek into another facet of the world of vampires that they created for their Guides for Dating Vampires series.

Content Warning(s): Sexual content, consensual blood play, mentions of a depressive episode and suicidal ideation, mentions of PTSD symptoms, references to police, police violence, and police high likelihood of harming the marginalized communities they are meant to protect.

A look into a corner of the world of GFDV, Diego and Maddox are two heart-crushingly lovable characters. The whole stage in which they are set if given to us in stunning descriptions. This is steamy in the most delicious ways and heartfelt in others.

Some of Bryn's best work and I cannot wait to read more about them in future novels and novellas.
