As always I adore JD Evans’ mature and eloquent writing style. The characterizations are nuanced, complex, and believable. I love the way Evans writes romance and political intrigue, and always find her characters compelling and deeply emotional. The romance always feels earned, if you like a slow burn you will love this book. I’ll happily read anything JD Evans writes
