Tagging Bases

Tagging Bases by Christopher J. Brice
This story wasn’t just a romance—it was a full-on emotional experience with all the right kinds of heart. From the very beginning, I was grinning like an idiot, completely invested in this trio's journey—and by the end, I was practically begging to stay in their world just a little longer. I didn’t want to leave them. I wanted to grow old with them.
Charlie absolutely stole my whole soul. His anxious, sunshine energy was a grounding force in this story, and his family? Top-tier. The kind of family that doesn’t need to get it to love fully. Their acceptance of Harrison, despite not fully understanding what a MMM relationship looks like, had me teary-eyed more than once. And Harrison... my heart. Watching him get cut off by his mom shattered me. But having two men by his side who didn’t hesitate to hold him through it? That’s the good stuff.
And then there's Roy—gruff, complicated, layered Roy—whose vulnerability completely gutted me. His quiet moment of asking for help hit so hard. It takes so much to admit you’re struggling, and even more to reach for support. That scene lives rent-free in my heart now.
This was my first book by Christopher J. Brice, but it will not be my last. MMM dynamics, emotional healing, chosen family, and all the soft, intimate moments in between—this book delivered. And I’ll be thinking about these three for a long time.
