Before this ARC, I was in the worst book slump. I couldn't even open my Kindle or pick something from my shelf—and with all the work piling up, it only got worse. But this book? Chef’s kiss.
The journey with Lux and Slate was fun, gripping, and honestly just what I needed. I’m an enemies-to-lovers kinda girlie, and when I tell you this is one of the best I’ve read? You better believe it.
I was hooked the whole time, even through the 🌶🌶🌶 scenes 👀.
It’s not a full 5/5 for me because I saw the plot twist coming early on, but that didn’t stop me from loving every second in their world.
