Insightful, detailed and insanely well researched biography about the father of the atomic bomb. However, I would’ve wished a bit more focus or background information on the actual sciences and scientific process behind the making of the A-bomb when Oppenheimer lead the project in Los Alamos. These chapters seemed a bit chaotic. It’s not completely clear to me what exactly Oppenheimer’s scientific contributions were in addition to being the head of many brilliant scientists working on the project. Otherwise there are hardly any complaints. Looking forward to the Nolan movie which is gonna be based on this biography.
