📚My review
●This was the palette cleanser I needed. It was smutty, adorable, short and sweet. I swear any male or villain character named Kain is instantly hottie in my eyes😆.
●Characters' Daisy and Kain didn't need to be well fleshed out to have an impact.
It was noticeable that Daisy was trying to bake something, failed miserably, and summomed a one-thousand year old demom from hell who definitely turnt her ass out 😆😆😆.
●I will add, the author surprised me with the COVID-19 mentioned in the story. Definitely wasn't expected that and it slightly threw me off a bit because you know " real life shit" that is still current🤷🏾♀️. But... that is the beauty of writing a story-- creating works of art that makes a traumatic event manageable.
●This was an insta- love/ hook up trope that was done so well in 34 pages🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾. I enjoyed how relatable Daisy was when she got frosting her Senegalese twist. The plus size representation is a constant with this author-- I LOVE it💜.
●Kain's character was aggressive & thoughtful-- odd combo right? Yet, when he baked the cupcakes so Daisy wouldn't burn her house down was a swooning moment for me!
●Now the sexy scene 🔥🔥🔥

Overall, Kimberly Lemming is an auto buy for me. Her charcters are relatable, quirky, the right brand of funny, and she can write the hell out of a steamy scene💜.
