the author 100% knows the tone, agenda, and assignment for this trilogy. all of these books have the same overall tone, which i'm not sure is a good or bad thing. i think it's good in the sense that they are all unique & fit together as a trilogy, but after reading the first two books i was looking for a bit More from this final book??? idk ...

my favorite part was the letters being written nearly Daily while they were apart :( and the inclusion of the couples from the other books. 

i'd rate this series highly, but def didn't love this book as much as the other two </3
