Oh Gus Gus might be my fave of the Henry leading men right now?? I love them all so far so it’s hard to pick honestly. Gus and January’s banter/sarcasm/flirting was a 10 out of 10 for me. It felt so natural and never annoying like it has in other books I’ve read before. I just love a witty couple!  The genre swap, research dates idea was so cute, and their window notes messaging?! Loved! Ugh the letters, the letters! I could see myself on the dock as she was reading them, which is why I’ve really enjoyed Henry’s writing because I so easily picture the world she creates. “I feel overwhelmed that you exist”, Gus being down sooo bad for January might be why he’s my fave right now. Also the epilogue referencing past book characters was so sweet!
