The Family Game by Catherine Steadman

2.0

It was mostly a fun read for a while, but also not something to think about too deeply… because it doesn’t seem to exist in any plane of reality. A chick is marrying into an ultra-rich-and-powerful family. They are also weird, or at least their freaking Krampus party was insanity. Are these supposed to be real people? The father gives her an audiotape confessing crimes, but also letting her know he knows about hers. And hers isn’t thick enough OR plausible. And then the resolution is dumb. So bad and nonsensical.
