Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.

How can anyone ignore all the racist, homophobic "jokes"? The ableism???????????? The joking around with mental illnesses?? The fatphobia? I'm pretty sure sexism was on the way... I refuse to take advice on writing from someone that uses others in offensive ways just so they can write something THEY think is funny. I don't find bigotry and ignorance amusing... You're not a bad writer when you make grammatical mistakes or sentences or spell words wrong. You're a bad writer when you don't do research, when you confuse ignorance for charm and insults as jokes.
