Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How It Can Help You Find—and Keep—Love by Amir Levine

3.0

This book makes a lot of broad strokes and sweeping claims. I appreciate the scientific evidence, but I didn’t always feel like the claims were fully supported. Even those that were fleshed out were driven home laboriously, repeating the same points over and over. I did learn some things from this book so I’m not mad I read it, but I have some suspicions and one glaring question: you’re therapists in New York City and couldn’t find any gay couples to include in your psychology-of-love book? Hmm… Anyways watch Couples Therapy on Showtime!
