An Original Story with great characters
The story premise was original and the characters awesome. As a writer, though, I understand the hazards better than anyone of wanting the reader to know EVERYTHING you know and that was a huge problem in the beginning. There were whole repeated paragraph sections, repetitive backstory segments, and all of it done out of scene and out of context. Once the author moved on from that and dived into the characters, totally awesome. Just needed a heavy handed heartless editor to slice up the beginning.
