The Blood Gospel by James Rollins

5.0

A very strange book, but it's greatness easily overwhelms that. There were a couple of mistakes (of course there were, it's an unedited copy), but despite the few that there were it still overwhelmed me. Rollins and Cantrell effortlessly bring the ancient religious aspects of the story into the modern day, and even include some less than religious aspects of history. I will say though, seeing the words "INSERT PIC OF LEAD COVER" instead of actually seeing a picture of the lead cover made everything even more amusing. They might want to check their biblical citations before the final printing, as well, to make sure everything is correct. I know some friends of mine would know if they weren't.
