I’m confused by the high reviews for this book which all seem to be written in the same format.

Dialogue was clunky and felt juvenile. Characters were bland and all felt similar, there were no real distinctions between them. The plot was nonsensical and so unbelievable that combined with the lack of character nuance the whole thing felt entirely rushed and almost comical in its premise.
