Review: ARC review for OOTB
This was a beautiful story of love with a mysterious air and Celtic and fae folklore. Each of the characters was complex and interesting. I loved Aylee, Cailean, and Dee. Rupert's story arc was unexpected. I loved Shelby and the relationship Aylee had with her and Violet. PEPPER was just the bestest good doggo ever!! The story was really unique and I wasn't able to guess all the twists, which I love. I also loved the fae stories and how that was all woven into the story of the Town. I think my favorite part may have been the end, though. 💜
I really strongly wanted to know more about Una, Ned, and Rupert's friendship backstory, and I'm super bummed that wasn't fleshed out more. Aside from that I can't find much I didn't like. Great debut novel from an author and I hope to read more of her stories soon!!
