The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires
4.0
4.5 stars
How refreshing! We see a girl trying over and over to build something that she envisions as Most Magnificent, her frustration in not getting it right, the dog-suggested walk to clear her head... and finally, the triumphant success.
The illustrations are just perfect, and her assistant does a wonderful - and appropriate - job!
A great book to read with children to show perseverance, emotional control and even the scientific method!
