This book definitely has some helpful and interesting points as well as topics that truly make you think in the fact on your own life and patterns. That said, there seems to be a lot of pseudo-science where the author cites a medical or scientific phenomenon and then an emotional/therapy idea that is seemingly related and tries to use the science to justify her view when in reality it's not actually correlated and does not prove her advice.
She is also heavily on the camp of "everything wrong with you in your relationships is because your parents sucked" and didn't really offer any other explanations of why we form the relationship patterns and expectations we have other than blaming parents, which I found very unhelpful.
