Ah, I have grown to both love and hate Stephen King. He is a sorcerer, and his words are perfectly cast spells that form an intricate web of incomparable magical magnificence. The hatred stems from the fear some of his novels have struck in me..
This book is perfectly written- a solid plot is constructed. the suspense builds from early on, but does not reach it's climax until the reader is shivering with anticipation. It is a classic, and a king amongst horrors, and whilst the cheesy film does this no justice, I think most people can agree that this is a widely loved novel that will remain popular for a long time. A definite must read for any fan of horror or similar, or just for anyone curious about this amazing man!
