Blue Graffiti
by Calahan Skogman
Thank you to Unnamed Press and Netgalley for sending an ARC.
The last LitFic book I read was The Catcher in the Rye in high school and even then, I gave up halfway through and sparknoted the rest. When I heard that Blue Graffiti was in this genre I was a little worried but knew I’d read it any way. It’s romantic in the sense that Cash is in love with his tiny town and all the people and places that make it unique. The best parts for me were the several pages that held insanely beautiful prose, including a line that I will be getting tattooed as soon as I have the money.
Overall, I enjoyed it and have learned that maybe LitFic isn’t so bad.
