I’m not quite sure what to write this book if I’m being completely honest. In the grand scheme of things, it was really good and it was so amazing like getting that little flashback to the very first book to when nightshade approached her that was crazy I think maybe my experience was dolled a little bit because This book was so numbers and names focused, which is very difficult to do over audio. So I’m sure it was actually very really good. I still got that big shock with who the killer was especially because we had deemed him not guilty already so that was a huge plot twist that I really enjoyed. Also about her mother! You know the more things that I point out that we’re shocking and make complete sense the more I’m pretty sure I’m gonna write this book 5 stars one thing that I didn’t like and I think this is the first time I’m saying anything negative in the whole series Is that she chose Dean last book but there was so little of them actually together in fact, we got less Michael and less Dean this book. We got a lot more Leah and a lot more slow and I love Sloane and Lia is growing on me. She was kind of a biatch but like for good reason if you give her the minute to like her actions to sync in and getting more of the complexity that is these characters Just made them all the more real. Like Leah being from a cult and Sloans like whole family dynamic, like my poor heart, went out to her so much and the one family member that wanted her was taken away that broke my heart. But we didn’t get a lot from Michael🎅🏼 and Dean and that really bums me out. Like Michael🎅🏼 going through a lot and we didn’t really get to see him this book. Except for that one scene where he cracked a little bit and basically said like I didn’t win you so what’s the point of trying for anything and she said Michael you were my first friend and that means a lot to me and you can tell the back got through to him just a little bit, so I hope that continues to play out and book for. And then they’re really really wasn’t a lot of Dean that’s my thing is like I know he’s like a reclusive independent broody character, but I really do need more from him and with him and Cassie because right now I’m sitting here thinking. Why did she pick him? You know where as if she Michael🎅🏼 they would be having a blast right now  maybe that’s one of the main reasons. I’m having a hard time really giving this book 5 stars because I’m a romance girly at heart so even though this isn’t a romance book and it’s more subplot. I still want it to be good you know. Anyways, I’m gonna go read book for and I’m gonna give this book 4 1/2 stars for now but there’s a lot of answers in this book but even more questions so I cannot wait for there to be a pretty little bow at the end of book before tying everything together.
