The ending of this book had me reeling. Oh my god, the biggest twist I've probably ever read. I am heartbroken and so angry. I instantly preordered the last book because I have to have it as soon as I can, which isn't until December but oh well. I can suffer, maybe.

As I said with the first book, I really like the idea of sisterhood and what it means to be a family, even if it's a chosen family. The connection that Lia has with her adelphia is incredible and the love they have for each other is something to cherish. They're all so unique and different, but they fit together like a puzzle. I love it.

I think the best part for me is that this book is spicier than book one. Nothing too intense, but still. The longing and desire and the fact that Lia can't do anything about it is just amazing. I think (and hope) by the end of the third book she's done something about it. There's no way I would have been able to last this long with someone like Xander continuosly being around. The loathe/desire relationship (what they have is much stronger than a love/hate relationship) just tickles a part of my brain. Ugh, it's so good.
