✨ Short Story Review ✨📚
Evidence of the Affair by Taylor Jenkins Reid
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This short story is told entirely through letters between two strangers who discover their spouses are cheating. What begins as painful confessions slowly turns into an honest connection built out of heartbreak.
Even though it’s a short story, Taylor Jenkins Reid captures so many emotions: betrayal, anger, sadness, and even hope. It’s about unlikely friendships, heartbreak, and marriage. I loved the writing style; reading the letters back and forth makes you feel like part of the story. It’s messy, raw, and honest, and it leaves you wondering what you’d do if you were in the same situation.
