I read this after it’s in universe sequel didn’t see that coming, i really liked the characters in both books, but we didn’t get to as much of Eleanor Roosevelt’s personality in this one as we do in the sequel. This is a slow burn romance that almost feels like it won’t appear ☺️ this book made me laugh and cringe and I loved the small queer side characters/developments. The miscommunication and double catfish had me tense but made it even more enjoyable watching it sort itself out
