I am really liking this series so far. So much happens in these books that i get whiplash but in a good way. lots of plot twists and turns, and i genuinely care about what happens to the characters.

one thing that annoyed me was the incessant back and forth
that grace had of choosing between jaxon and hudson. it was so obvious to everyone that grave felt more for hudson and incredibly frustrating to watch her choose jaxon over and over again. i’m hoping that with the way the book ended that this will not be a theme in the next installment.

there have been really good cliffhangers for each book in this series plus multiple points within each book. this book is no exception. various points in this book have really good starting points for plot pickups in the future that makes me excited for the rest of the series.

this book and series has it all; action, adventure, romance, paranormal creatures, magic, chosen one mythologies, and mystery. i found it highly entertaining and the plot gripping.
