The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness

Did not finish book. Stopped at 54%.
I really wanted to stick this final book out. I really wanted to like this trilogy. But holy shit it’s is so boring. My favorite character is the house! And Chris, but everything about him was setting off “they’re gonna die” alarm bells.
Just like with Emily.
I can see the bones of a much more interesting story, but I got so tired waiting for it to become more than Twilight reimagined.
