One of the best Bond books and easily the best Bond film (challenged only by Goldfinger, The Living Daylights, and Casino Royale). Terrific light reading for an extended weekend breakfast. Yes, as espionage novels go Fleming is no le Carre, but who is? And the styles are so different anyway...

This is part of the 'Blofeld Trilogy,' but you can just pick it up and flip through it to recover from more intellectual reading. It's nice that it's not too empty, either; Fleming has a certain style and pace that makes these seem vital in a way most thrillers just aren't.
