The Devil Himself by BB Easton

What a wild ride The Devil Himself was! Just when you thought you knew what was happening, Easton through a curveball and had you second guessing everything!

Can I just say that BB Easton writes some of the BEST heroines, period. Time and time again she pours strength, tenacity, hunger and wit into her female main characters and proves that no woman with something to prove should be put into a box or underestimated! Clover fit this profile to a T!

I was in adoration of the fight Clover showed and her drive to survive such a tragic and ugly situation. Her strength through the entire book was so empowering and had me cheering for her time and time again. Damien's character drew me in from the start but there were certainly times when I wanted to punch him. Their forced proximity relationship felt a bit farce at the beginning. It took me a while to really accept their feelings for one another as something deeper than a case of stockholm syndrome. Once the story started to unfold and the past of Darby and Kellen came into play, I was much more on board. The connection between Clover and Damien was indestructable and that was proven time and time again during the madness that unfolded.

This book has me completely shocked with the reincarnation aspect. At times it was hard to follow because there was so much chaos and character crossover from the first book that I'd forgotten about. I would strongly recommend reading The Devil of Dublin immediately before picking up this one, just so the story is fresh in your mind!

I loved the ending of the book and was quite pleased with how everything fell into place! The suspense aspect really kept you guessing and on the edge of your seat.
