Well, I finished my first reread of this series in years, and I think it was way more impactful this time around, especially Mockingjay. I didn't like Mockingjay the first time around. I thought it was boring and the lack of Katniss and Peeta moments were disappointing.The things that happen in this book

Katniss's beauty team being imprisoned tortured; Peeta's torture and hijacking; Johanna, Finnick, and Katniss losing their grasp on reality; the children and Prim being blown up at the end

are truly horrific. I did not realize how awful Coin and Plutarch were until now. Plutarch, while a rebel, uses Katniss exactly like the Capitol did, and Coin only wants power.

This book feels like a big departure from the first two books because there's no Hunger Games in this book. Although,

towards the end, after Boggs dies and the rest of them are moving through the pods, it does feel like the Hunger Games.

I saw another reviewer say that Katniss's motivations were confusing and hard to follow in this, and I would have to agree. One could argue that Katniss's motivations were all over the place because she was traumatized and all over the place, but I still think there could have been a little bit more development.
