Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?: Big Questions from Tiny Mortals about Death by Caitlin Doughty

5.0

So, this is a book about death. And while everyone around me knows that I have an interesting relationship with death (read that as I find "death culture" fascinating), I fully recognize that not everyone has this relationship with death and dying. So if you do not, this book is probably not for you. While I think acknowledging death is a healthy part of life, this book covers some of the TMI parts of death that perhaps not every person needs to know. But if you have an interesting relationship with death and like well-written scientific books about it, then I cannot recommend this book (or any book or media made by Caitlin Doughty). Kids ask the best questions, and on the topic of death that's no different. I too would like to know what happens if someone dies on a plane or in outer space! And now I know (and you can too!).
