Not for me, but obviously a great book.

Bunny is phantasmagorical, emphasis on the gore. I think the self-important, overly writerly writing style being satire about the kind of people this book is about is very meta, very funny, and very well done. All of the reflections on grad school, academics, and academic creative writing are as funny as they are blisteringly realistic.

I don’t generally go in for this style of fiction (schizophrenic, disjointed, dream state, can’t tell what’s real), but this was so beautifully written, and the particular picture of horror it was evoking (modern millennial tweeness turned dark and creepy) was original and refreshing. I enjoyed it, and I will never read it again.
