bh7 's review for:
The Cases That Haunt Us
by John E. Douglas, Mark Olshaker
Overall I really liked this book. All cases are told from his perspective so keep that in mind-opinion, although educated, doesn't mean fact. There is some weird sexism in the book. It's not aggressive in any way and I'm not usually one to point these things out or have them bother me. He often refers to a victims level of attractiveness that seems out of the realm of what would be relative to the case. And yes, I understand that part of profiling means looking at the world from the suspects view but some of his comments just struck me as slightly inappropriate.
