I think it’s funny that I finally decided to read this book at a point of transition in my life where I felt stuck with an impossible decision and afraid that I would make the wrong choice. This is a story that explores all the lives we could have lived, our regrets (big and small) and the importance of the little things, how life is full of little pearls of possibility that will never expire. It highlights how we as humans tend to be focused on an all-or-nothing mindset when we can have a taste of it all. Read this when you feel stuck or powerless and you might find your own little pearls.
