The New Husband by D.J. Palmer

3.0

For me this was an average thriller but nonetheless entertaining. We follow a woman who two years ago lost her husband in an incident, as she moves into her new home with her two children and boyfriend of roughly 18 months.

Her daughter is disillusion by the boyfriend and had been from the very start of her mother's new relationship. With her keen eye, she sees things that her older brother and mother don't seem to notice or mindlessly writes off as just her being an upset tween. But as time goes, her mother Nina starts to realize and wonder if her daughter is right. If there is something wrong with her boyfriend, if he's a lot darker than the person she thought she knew.
