Liberation Day: Stories by George Saunders
3.5
challenging dark reflective sad medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No

The high notes were remarkable, but I struggled with nearly half of the stories. I really didn't care for those stories written in the voice of a human who'd had their memories wiped, or when he's using broken English of some kind. Colloquialisms often seemed forced.
