This is very close to being my top 10 books of 2024!
Just jumping to the end because I can’t take my mind off it. This ended so bittersweet. I understand why it did, and why I feel that way, but damn… I wanted a better closure for Clae. But at the same time I feel like she got what she wanted in the end.
The complexity of this story, and the revelation had me sitting in my car in silence. I truly didn’t see it coming. Overall, this story showed me how far our loved ones and parents will go to protect us from the truth no matter the consequences.
