Wow..i am pleasantly surprised. It’s very atmospheric all the time I was reading I felt like I’m on an island in Italy sipping Elba’s wine and eating pasta. The story is very character-driven so if you are more interested in plots then you might not like this one but the characters, their relationships with each other, their growth will warm even the coldest of hearts (aka mine lol). One of my favorite quote is this (though you have to read the book to understand it better):

“Funny how different people’s ideas of ‘safe’ were. To Dante, Lizzie was standing on the edge of a cliff, and his arms were holding her so the wind couldn’t blow her away. But to her, his arms meant she could sing.”

P.S. this book goes so well with the cover of “In My Life” by Joseph Vincent
