This was a great conclusion to the trilogy. A little longer than I think it might have needed to be but I think the pacing was still good and there was enough action moments and romantic moments to keep the story going. I definitely got a little frustrated at times with how her self loathing got in the way of her relationship but the steps she took to battle her ptsd from war and to let him in were great. I loved their banter and their dedication to protecting each other. Definitely shed a tear or two for those moments. Looking forward to reading the rest of this author’s backlist. I think she writes great relationships with a good balance of plot.
