My Love Is for You by Susan Musgrave

These illustrations are absolutely stunning. From the lyrical rhythm of the prose I was initially expecting a rhyme so was a little surprised to not have one. Once I dropped that expectation though, it is easy to appreciate the descriptive passages and impossible not to love the illustrations. A sweet picture book that would be a good addition to any child's bookshelf.
