Pay It Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde

4.0

Mixed feeling about this book.

The ending felt a bit cheap, like the author tried to squeeze the emotions out of the reader.

I liked the beginning of the book and the fact that not everyone was going to "pay it forward", that's just how the real world works. But then it turned into something more idealistic. It sort of why it's a 4 stars for me.

Also, the love triangle didn't make any sense to me. I couldn't relate to Arlene's choices.

Despite all that, it was still an enjoyable read.
