Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel by Eoin Colfer
4.0
I loved reading the original book, but the graphic novel left something to be desired. For one thing, they cut out a great deal of detail, and, for another, they made Artemis seem downright sociopathic (or on his way to being so). He was a great deal more human in the book, and the way I pictured the characters in the book completely jarred with how they presented them.
For one thing, Foaly looks like a glorified chimp, and Mulch looks god awful. They changed Holly's skin color, too, because it's in the books as mocha. (shakes head) I suppose this should appeal to the younger generation, but it didn't seem true to the series for me.
