Pretty much everything in Mercy's life that could go wrong, has gone wrong. So she buys a van and sets off with her dog on an adventure to escape the fear she's been living with for the last two years and to find herself again.

This book reminded me so much of travelling around WA in my old van Luna. Of travelling alone for the first time feel super freaking unsure and questioning all of my life choices. I really identified with Mercy just wanting to escape her life and the fact that she chose to travel to do so (although I travel to escape the monotony of life).

This book deals with some heavy topics like death and crippling anxiety but does so in such a real and respectful way. Mercy goes through such a massive transformation and it's so freaking beautiful to read

Also, there's a hot solo travelling Scottish man...

I really freaking loved this book, I think this might be a new comfort read for me, it had me feeling nostalgic AF!
