The character development in this book was wonderful. It was the best thing about the book. It made the world build and plot pale in comparison, making it unbalanced for me. I did find reading about the characters and their pasts very interesting. I found everything else dragging and boring.
I am still debating to myself if I would want to pick up the next book in the series and give it a chance or not. Even though I found most of the book dragged for me and I was bored, the characters were that good to me that I may give it that chance. I'm just not sure if it is enough to motivate me to pick up more when I have so many other series that I love.
