Dnf at 12%. Probably could have tried harder but really not into it.
EDIT: After writing this I read some more reviews and decided to keep reading this book. I just finished it and it was actually pretty good. It’s a very typical fantasy “poor girl comes to the palace and decides to overthrow the ruler and then discovers something *shocking* about her past” but I mean the reason that trope is done so often is because it’s usually pretty enjoyable, even though it’s predictable. The main character kinda annoyed me a bit but I understand why her and Sunder are compared to Jude and Cardan from the Cruel Prince. Overall, I recommend to those who are in the mood for a stereotypical but still enjoyable YA fantasy book.
