At first I didn't think I could get into this book. I found the main character, Lo, to be unlikeable and dramatic. However, after she witnessed the body being thrown overboard (this isn't a spoiler, it's written in the blurb), she develops into a strong-yet-fragile, unrelenting woman.
There were many twists in the plot line, and I never would've guessed the ending! I'm looking forward to reading more from Ruth Ware!
