The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King by Carissa Broadbent

5.0

I really loved this book. The author more effectively built the world in this book, and she even explained some of the gaps in world building from the first book through the FMC’s lack of knowledge in a seemingly authentic way. This book had more political intrigue and battle and, overall, I truly enjoyed it. It’s exciting to read a new take on vampires… always my #1 favorite type of fantasy book.
