⚠️SPOILER WARNING, I KINDA SPOIL STUFF⚠️
So now I'm offically at least halfway through Kingdom of ash. And gods this first part was AMAZING.
Elide's ride against death was my favorite part. She is such a badass. It was super stressing to read, I was so scared that she and Lorcan would die there and then. But like yes, amazing part. I didn't expect Elide and Farasha to be the best duo, but they are. Love Farasha, such a great horse.
Also Yrene. I still love her. She is 100% my absolute favorite character of the series. Healers always are the best. And I loved when she put Chaols father in his place. What a woman.
Suprisingly I don't hate Chaol anymore. He actually managed to grow on me. Character growth thank god he got one. I can't say same about Aedion. That son of a bitch, gods I wanted to punch him in the face. What the hell did he think he was??? He treated Lysandra like garbage for no reason? Thank god Lysandra said Fuck you and left him.
Dorian darling..... If I am being honest, he needs a big cup of hot Chocolate and a hug. Actually, he needs a bunch of hugs. I hope his mission will go well. But it propably wont. And now there is no one there to help. May his place as one of the most popular characters protect him in the next part.
Manon was a badass as always. Her parts will never disappoint me. I also really liked the whole flame of war thing.
I should propably say something about Aelin. I love her. She deserves better. And she is the baddest badass there is in fantasy. Her parts HURT. And she still managed to make the end battle super cool.
So yes. This is my favorite book in the series so far. I am very glad that this is the book, that filled my book challenge goal. I hope the ending part of the series will be just as amazing and maybe even greater
